Workplace CPR/AED Training Classes are essential elements of any organization's health and safety initiatives. They aim to provide employees with crucial knowledge and skills to address sudden cardiac arrest and other emergencies effectively. These CPR training classes are particularly vital in creating a safer workplace environment, where timely and effective emergency response can significantly increase the chances of survival following sudden cardiac arrest or choking incidents. Participants in a Workplace CPR/AED Training Class will learn a variety of life-saving techniques, including:

  • How to recognize and respond to cardiac arrest and choking in adults (with child and infant skills optionally included at no extra charge in some courses).
  • The correct procedure for performing CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) to maintain blood flow to the brain and other vital organs until professional medical help arrives.
  • Safe and effective use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), including turning on the AED, applying electrode pads, and delivering a shock.
  • Basic first aid techniques for managing minor injuries and conditions until further medical treatment can be obtained.
  • Best practices for ensuring personal safety while providing care to prevent disease transmission.

Workplace CPR/AED Training Classes not only prepare employees to deal with emergencies in the workplace but also equip them with skills that can be applied in any setting, whether at home or in public areas. By promoting a culture of safety and preparedness, companies safeguard their most important resource—their employees—while also empowering them with the confidence and capability to take action during emergencies.
